Blake Adams, LCPC, LPCC, NCCFounder and Chief Executive Officer, Christian Counseling NFP

Hi, I’m Blake Adams, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota, and a National Certified Counselor.

I created Christian Counseling NFP because I believe people deserve a place where they can bring their whole story—the stress, trauma, questions, relationships, and faith—without fear of being judged, dismissed, or talked down to.

I work with teens, adults, couples, and families who are ready for something to change, even when they are not sure where to begin. My approach is compassionate, honest, trauma-informed, and down to earth. Therapy is not about having all the right words. It is a collaborative conversation where you can feel heard, understand what you are carrying, and develop practical tools for moving forward.

My Christian faith grounds the way I serve, but I meet every client with respect, care, and professional integrity. Faith can be incorporated into our work in the way that feels right for you.

My goal is for you to leave our work feeling supported, strengthened, and more confident about your next step.

Faith & Counseling

Professional counseling. Faith-informed care.

Some clients want prayer, scripture, or spiritual reflection woven into their sessions. Others want a counselor who simply respects what they believe. Both are welcome — and faith participation is never required.

Counseling here is always clinically grounded. Faith is never used to dismiss what you are going through, pressure a decision, or replace real therapeutic work.

You set the pace, and you can change your mind at any point along the way.
